From 1969 untill today:

Fyns Kran Udstyr A/S was founded in 1969 by Villy Bøllingtoft.


After many year as part of the company Randers Reb, Jackie Bøllingtoft (son of Villy Bøllingtoft) bought Fyns Kran Udstyr back 21.st of September 2004 he and is the present owner together with CEO, Carsten Møller Sørensen. Since then many things has happend. Today Fyns Kran Udstyr has about 90 dedicated employees.

1969

Photo from 1969 of Brændekildevej 37, 5250 Odense SV. Before the buildings was used for cultivating mushrooms and furthermore the mainbuilding is over 300 years old.

1983

In the back at right Torben Wiberg, who is still an employee at Fyns Kran Udstyr. He celebrated his 35th anniversary in 2016 and facing his 40th anniversary in 2021. In the back at left is Erik Nielsen, he started working at Fyns Kran Udstyr in 1973 and was sales manager for 3 decades.

1987

Installation of a 1500 tonnes hydraulic equipment in Fyns Kran Udstyr Odense, Denmark, 1987.

1988

Setting up a wind turbine in 1988 and Vestas used wire and winches from Fyns Kran Udstyr. Since mid 1980 Fyns Kran Udstyr has delivered equipment for the wind energy industry.

1990

In 1990 Villy Bøllingtoft, sells Fyns Kran Udstyr A/S to the company Randers Reb.

1996

1998

Quality control is introduced in the late 1990's and in 2006 Fyns Kran Udstyr was certified by ISO 9001:2000.

1998

Fyns kran Udstyr participate in EGA exhibition in 1998., Odense, Denmark.

1999

Load test of the first nacelle lifting beams in 1999. Since then Fyns Kran Udstyr has designed and produced at least 100 pcs. of these types of lifting beams.

1999

A big storm in 1999 destroyed some of the roof of one of the buildings in Odense, Denmark.

2000

When Denmark bulid the Great Belt Bridge Fyns Kran Udstyr did deliver a lot of equipment e.g. steel wire rope. And today Fyns Kran Udstyr take care of test and service at the wire ropes at the Great Belt Bridge. 
 

2001

The Fyns Kran Udstyr branch in Randes did participate in a water show during a festival in the city in 2001. The boat was built as a Fyns Kran Udstyr service van - they didn't win this year but in 2002 they won the water show.

Jackie Bøllingtoft took over Fyns Kran Udstyr 21st of September 2004. Jackie is in the front to the right.

2005

Fyns Kran Udstyr buy ABB Kraners ”service department” to strenghten the crane service.

2006

Fyns Kran Udstyr open a branch in Aalborg, Denmark.

2007

Fyns Kran Udstyr starts cooperating with Amos International in Singapore, and i March 2007 a joint venture is established. Unfortunately, the branch has to close in 2011.

2007

Fyns Kran Udstyr participate in the exhibition called 'Transport' in Herning, Denmark, in 2007. The photo shows Torben Wiberg, Anders Helbo, Marianne Hansen - and in the back; Poul Argon Jensen.

Fyns Kran Udstyr open a branch in Dubai in 2008 in cooperation with 'Seven Seas'. Unfortunately, the branch has to close already in 2009.

2009

Fyns Kran Udstyr participate in an exhibition called 'Vestfyn trækker' in 2009.

2010

Fyns Kran Udstyrs headquarter in Odense, Denmark.

Fyns Kran Udstyr participate in the exhibition 'Husum Wind' in 2010.

2011

I 2011 Fyns Kran Udstyr designed and produced a hydraulic lifting beam for lifting wind turbine elements, called Transition Pieces, TP's. The lifting beam was used in the worlds largest wind turpine area offshore. The new way of handling wind turbines using the hydraulic lifting beam is safer, faster and less expensive.

2011

Fyns Kran Udstyr launch the 1st of September 2011 a brand new webshop; www.loeftegrej.dk.

2012

Fyns Kran Udstyrs branch in Randers is closed and all equipment is moved to the branch in Odense and the employees continue their work in the branch in Aalborg. 

2012

Production of customised solutions expands at Fyns Kran Udstyrs rigging work shop in Odense, Denmark.

2012

September 2012 – Carsten Møller Sørensen accede the position as CEO in Fyns Kran Udstyr A/S.

2013

The production plant, Lehaka starts an integration process with Fyns Kran Udstyr, e.g. generation renewal, new investments etc.

2014

Fyns Kran Udstyr moves to a new location in Esbjerg.

2014

Fyns Kran Udstyr open a branch in Lindø Port in 2014 to be able to supply assistance to customers around the port. Unfortunately, the branch has to close already in 2016 as all main focus for offshore activities moves to the branch in Esbjerg.

2014

Fyns Kran Udstyrs new location at H E Bluhmesvej 19 in Esbjerg are ready.

2015

A new online system is introduced medio 2015 and CRM is the first part - the implementation continues later the same year.

2015

Fyns Kran Udstyr is chosen as new supplier to the Danish Defence; Coastal Rescue Service. The photo shows Lieutenant-Colonel Carsten Johansen Cederbye and former Sales Manager Anders Helbo.

2016

Fyns Kran Udstyr implements the online system MicroBizz in the Service Department to ensure high quality in each test and service as well as the online part called EasyCert will ensure 24/7 customer access to data and  documentation.

2017

In the spring 2017 the renovation work starts at Fyns Kran Udstyr production plant Lehaka in Aalborg.

The new buildings at Fyns Kran Udstyrs production plant Lehaka in Aalborg is ready and a new future between Lehaka and Fyns Kran Udstyr is a reality.

2018

At the end of 2018, Fyns Kran Udstyr launched a completely new online platform on fyns-kran.dk, wedolifting.com and wedolifting.se. With a personal login, customers now have the opportunity to shop more than 10,000 different products online at customer-specific prices.

2019

Fyns Kran Udstyr turns 50 years on 1 April, 2019, and it is celebrated with a big party at Hotel Hesselet in Nyborg, Denmark with the participation of the founder, Villy Bøllingtoft, who is still an active board member of comapny board.

2020

Fyns Kran Udstyr is establishing an office and showroom on Byghøjvej close to the head office on Brændekildevej - both to meet demands for more office space but also to have the showroom centrally located close to the head office in Odense.

2020

The growing number of employees makes it necessary to expand the canteen conditions on Brændekildevej - several rooms was added together, and an outdoor terrace was laid to improve the outdoor space.

2021

Joachim Riisager takes over as sales director, and is now the prime force behind the commercial team.

2021

A new shipping area is established on Brændekildevej to accommodate the increasing number of shipments that are sent daily from the main wharehouse each day.

Fyns Kran Udstyr celebrates the 40th anniversary of Torben Wiberg Rasmussen, who on 1 December 2021 has been employed by Fyns Kran Udstyr for an impressive 40 years.

Fyns Kran Udstyr implements Business Intelligence, known as "BI", which is to create a greater overview of data from different systems and thus help to create more data structure and process reports from internal systems.

2022

Fyns Kran Udstyr acquires the majority in the Swedish company Cranemech AB. On the picture from right it is: Carsten Møller Sørensen, CEO of Fyns Kran Udstyr, Martin Nilsson CEO of Cranemech AB, Viktor Gibrand Service Manager of Cranemech AB. Both Martin Nilsson and Viktor Gibrand remains part owners of Cranemech AB.

2022

After a thorough audit, Fyns Kran Udstyr is ISO-approved and receives the certificates 14001 and 45001 without deviations and with great praise.

The best way to predict the future is to invent it.
