SWF Krantechnik was founded in 1921 as Süddeutsche Waggon Fabrik and has since been through several namechanges and mergers. Today the headquarter is located in Mannheim, Germany and SWF Krantechnik has over 550 partners in 68 countries that all sell SWF cranes and hoists. There is also an office in Shanghai.
