Acera Amundsen

Acera® 12-strand HMPE rope. Acera Amundsen is a DNV GL type approved 12-strand high performance rope made from genuine Acera® HMPE yarns, which is individually coated through a rotating 360° Lick-roller process. This cumbersome single yarn coating process demonstrates the uncompromising commitment to the quality standards of Acera®. Single yarn coating is proven to significantly enhance internal and external abrasion resistance, and extend service life and strength.

Construction: 12-stran plaited.
Colour: Platinum (other colour combinations is available upon request.).
Specific gravity: 0.97 g/cm3 (floating).
Elongation at break: Low (2-3% at break).
Melting Point: 145-150°C.
Abrasion Resistance: Excellent.
