The company Stamperia Carcano Giuseppe was founded in the late 1950s in Italy by Giuseppe Carcano Giuseppe, his wife Ebe and sister Franca. The family owned a workshop that was transformed to produce steel castings - and the door was opened to brand new business opportunities. Throughout the 1970s, the company invested in new innovative production technologies which meant that the company could produce very high quality goods and beacuse of this the products were in demand throughout the world. Throughout the 1980s, the company's exports grew to unknown heights and the company expanded its product range, and at the end of the 1990s, the company was one of the largest European producers in the field. At the same time, CARTEC was launched as an addition to the company's wide range.
