CODIPRO

CODIPRO is based in Luxembourg and is part of the ALIPA group. The ALIPA group consists of a large number of companies that are engaged in both lifting equipment and packaging. CODIPRO specializes in the manufacture of swivel eye bolts and the CODIPRO name dates back to 1975 when the company was founded in France by Marc Lecourt. He started the company in his basement near the French town of Le Mens. In the beginning, the focus was on screws and bolts. That changed in 1989, however, when the company was granted the first patent for a swivel eye bolt that could adapt to lifting at an angle and not just be used for straight lifting, which had been the standard up until now. In the years to come, CODIPRO experienced increased growth, and in 2004 Marc Lecourt chose to sell CODIPRO to what is today known as the ALIPA group. However, the innovation has not been neglected. Among other things, the company has launched the GRADUP product line, and in 2020 Codipro launched the CONDITRACER application, which, among other things, uses blockchain technology to gather information about traceability, technical data, certificates and user manuals.
