PETZL

The story of Petzl began with the founder Fernand Petzls passion for climbing, a passion that he dedicated his talents to as inventor and craftsman. In 1970, the first "Fernand Petzl" products were produced in a workshop in Saint-Nazaire-Les-Eymes, Isère, France. Since then, the Petzl company, founded in 1975, has grown into an international company that retains the passion that drove Fernand Petzl.
