Vetter Krantechnik

The 23-year-old Arnold Vetter founded in 1889 'Eisenkonstruktions-Werkstätte Arnold Vetter'. The first success of the company was not cranes but tippers for the mining and steel industry. In 1933, the oldest son Albert took control of the company and began to focus on lifting equipment in the mining industry. In 1962 the third generation of the family: Klaus Th. Vetter took control of the company - in these years, the mining industry was having a hard time and the company shited focus to other products. In 1964, the company produced its first jib crane. Cranes became the key to a long-lasting success for the German family-owned business and today the 5th generation is slowly taking over the company. Today, Vetter produces cranes at one of Europe's most modern crane factories in the German city of Haiger. You can see more about Vetter Krantechnik in this video:
