How to use a turnbuckle
A turnbuckle is very versatile in use and can be used for any task where maximum tightening in a straight direction is required. Turnbuckles are used, together with a steel wire rope, where it used to alter the length and tension. The turnbuckle is mounted in connection with steel wire rope and can then be shortened and lengthened as needed, which makes it ideal for adjusting asymmetrical lifts.
Heavy-duty turnbuckles
The turnbuckle makes it easier to handle challenging lifts. It is used, for example, to adjust the tension on steel wire rope to equalize or correct the center of gravity during heavy lifting. Remember: your turnbuckle must be marked with WLL (Working Load Limit) - otherwise they cannot be used for lifting. Turnbuckle with Jaw/Jaw
This turnbuckle has a U-shaped jaw/fork/terminal at each end with a locking bolt on it. It can be mounted directly on a lifting eye with the locking bolt or the jaw can be mounted in the thimble on a wire rope sling.
