What is a pallet fork?
A pallet fork is a lifting tool that can be used by the vast majority of crane types. Pallet forks are designed for lifting pallets, insulation, windows, etc. Stationary cranes, e.g. tower cranes or cranes in industry often use a self-balancing pallet fork as this type is designed so that it 'balances' itself both with and without load.
Our range of pallet forks is therefore often used for truck cranes, overhead cranes as well as mobile and stationary tower cranes.
How much clearance does your load require?
Pallet forks are available in many different variations, and if you need to lift, for example, towers with wood, insulation or windows, it might be worth looking at a pallet fork where it is possible to adjust the clearance between the forks of the pallet fork and the point where the crane engages. These pallet forks are often a popular choice if the pallet fork is used in conjunction with a truck crane.
Are there pallet forks for other than cranes?
Yes, there are pallet forks that have been specially developed for e.g. tractors, backhoes and other construction machinery. However, these are not part of our current range.
Does the rule for statutory inspections also apply to pallet forks?
Yes, in Denmark the Danish work environment authority requires that all lifting and attachment equipment must be inspected by an expert at least once every 12 months. This therefore also applies to pallet forks. Different may apply depending on the country you are in.

The company produces their products at their own Danish factory in the city of Vejen and they are especially known for their large selection of high-quality pallet forks. In BSV's range you will find both pallet forks with the well-known bow suspension, with clamp suspension as well as special models with increased clearance and models for handling plasterboard. Lasto - Swedish Lasto also produces a number of models of different pallet forks for almost every need. The products have existed for decades and in the range you will find, among other things, the models: Mini, Standard and Maxi. The models each have their own advantages, but these pallet forks are particularly known for their self-balancing system that works via special springs and which gives the pallet fork a reclined position during lifting, which contributes to extra increased safety.
