CASAR
CASAR is an abbreviation for the French term 'Câblerie Sarroise'. CASAR Drahtseilwerk Saar was founded in 1948 by consul Joseph Verreet. Since its start, the company has manufactured and developed innovative steel wire rope products. Among other things. the company was the first to produce 8-stranded ropes in 1949, when 6-strands was the standard. The company has since continued to develop innovative products - especially within steel wire rope. At the same time, innovative production technologies have been continuously developed to continuously improve the products. Today, the production of steel wire is ultra-modern and it is possible to monitor the quality of the steel wire rope in real time while the production is in progress. In 2007, CASAR became part of the global company WireCo WorldGroup - one of the world's leading companies in the production of steel wire- and fiber ropes.
