IKAR GmbH

The company IKAR GmbH was founded in 1978 by current CEO and owner Otto Herchet. IKAR has since developed into one of the world's strongest manufacturers of fall protection equipment. IKAR offers a wide range of products, from harnesses to anchoring, to eg. lanyards and fall arrests. Today, the company's production facilities have a size of approx. 3,500 m², where IKAR GmbH produces about 10,000 pieces of fall protection equipment per month and ship the products to more than 50 countries worldwide. In addition to development, many of the parts used in the products from IKAR are produced in-house at the Fulda factory in Germany.
