The steel core stabilises the wire construction, while the pressed eyes provide a secure termination. This construction is relevant where a shape-stable wire sling with good flexibility under correct bending is required.

Use a contact point with an appropriate radius and keep the wire clear of sharp edges. Check the sling and eye terminations before use, and remove it from service if damage or deformation is visible.
