Usually, with these types of cranes, there is not a defined safety distance between the crane and the ceiling structure - this provides an optimal use of existing space or it can save additional costs for new construction. If the lifting height is the absolute decisive factor, an underrunning solution might be worth considering.

ABUS Single Overhead Cranes are available either with the tracks itself as a rolled profile girder (ELV) or with a welded box girder (ELK). Different crossbar constructions ensure that each model can minimize the height from the crossbar to the ceiling structure and achieve the highest possible hook height.
