The Thern Commander AL is an innovative portable aluminum davit crane that combines exceptional mobility with impressive lifting capacity. It is also Thern’s first aluminum series. With its lightweight design and quick-release hardware, the crane can be easily disassembled and reassembled on-site without tools, making it ideal for tasks where space is limited or where the equipment needs to be moved frequently.

The Thern Commander AL series is constructed from heavy-duty welded 6061 aluminum, which meets strict ASTM standards and minimizes deflection under load. The electrostatic powder coating and aluminum fittings ensure excellent corrosion resistance, even in harsh environments. For additional protection, the crane is available with an epoxy finish. The crane offers 360-degree smooth rotation under load thanks to a durable bearing, and the adjustable boom can be extended to four different positions, providing maximum flexibility for any lifting task.

Commander AL 5AT1 (Up to 300 kg)

The Commander AL 5AT1 is the lightest model in the series and is perfect for tasks that require maximum portability without compromising on strength. This model has a lifting capacity of up to 300 kg and a maximum hook height of 2159 mm. It is incredibly easy to transport, as the total weight is under 25 kg, and the heaviest single component weighs less than 7 kg. This model is ideal for quick inspections, maintenance tasks, and light lifting in hard-to-reach locations. The 5AT1 series is available in several configurations, including the M1, M2, and M3 with various manual winches, as well as the E2 and E4 with electric winches. No matter which configuration you choose, you get a robust and affordable solution that is easy for a single person to handle.

Commander AL 5AT2 (Up to 540 kg)

For tasks that require greater lifting capacity, the Commander AL 5AT2 is the obvious choice. This model offers an impressive lifting capacity of up to 540 kg, while retaining the series’ characteristic portability. The total weight is under 38 kg, and none of the individual components weigh more than 14 kg, which still allows a single person to transport and assemble the crane. The 5AT2 model is built to handle heavier industrial lifting equipment and more demanding material handling. Like the 5AT1, this model is available in several configurations, including the M1, M2, and M3 with more powerful manual winches, as well as the E2 with an electric winch.
