Gantry Cranes - ERIKKILA

Gantry Cranes are used when the building does not meet the requirements for the Hoist Tracks or you need the space taken up by columns. ERIKKILA Gantry Cranes are available with both carriageways on the floor or with one carriageway (Semi-Gantry Crane). Semi-Gantry Cranes are often used under larger Overhead Cranes. Gantry Crane systems can be supplied for both stationary and mobile use (on wheels with brakes). They can also be equipped with a Manual Wire Rope Hoists or Chain hoist. Semi-Gantry Cranes are the ideal solution when the floor area must be free of columns eg. in the middle of a floor area. With a Semi-Gantry Crane, one end of the crane is supported by columns or brackets while the other is supported by legs with wheels underneath. Normally, a rail is constructed in the floor that the wheels run on. However, it is also possible to have wheels that run on a concrete floor.
