The fall protection course covers various situations where fall protection is involved. It's important for employees to know which fall protection equipment to use for each task and what risk factors can occur when working at height. Our goal is to prevent falls through proper education so that all employees return home safely from work. A large part of the course consists of an equipment review of products such as fall arrest blocks, anchor points and lanyards, when to use them and what the advantages and disadvantages of using the equipment are. In addition, the importance of maintenance and inspection of fall arrest harnesses is covered. The trainer will bring different products to test during the course so that all participants are familiar with the different types of fall protection used by the company. It is important to be familiar with the advantages and disadvantages of the different types of fall protection - especially when to use it and when not to use it.
Why is it important to use fall protection equipment correctly?
It is the company's responsibility to ensure that all employees using fall protection equipment are trained for the task. Many people are unsure which equipment is right for different types of tasks. Unfortunately, we often hear of employees sharing the same fall protection equipment, which we don't recommend as it's harder to adapt to the individual's body and needs. It can also happen that one employee fails to tell others that there is a fault with the harness and discards the harness in time before the next person uses it. Many mistakes can be made, which in the worst case can mean that the employee is not safe enough should a dangerous situation arise.

A tailor-made fall protection course
Our instructor always takes the individual company's tasks and fall protection equipment as a starting point, so that the course content fits the company and that no irrelevant equipment and situations are taught that will not occur. The course takes between 2 and 3 hours, and after completing the course, all participants receive a course certificate, as everyone can be considered trained in fall protection.
