When is an edge too sharp for a Round Sling and Webbing Slings?
An edge is too sharp when the radius of the edge is equal to or smaller than the diameter/thickness of the round sling or lifting strap.

Do you often find that your Round Sling is cut?
Then you can protect your Round Sling. We recommend the new Dyneema protections, which are quite unique in this context.
At the same time, it is important to state that you may only use Round Sling protection that has been recommended in advance by the supplier. These special protections have been tested by the manufacturers and are therefore recommended for protection against sharp edges.
ATTENTION!
Fire hose is not a protection against sharp edges. However, under some conditions, a fire hose can be a good wear sleeve for Webbing Slings and Round Slings, if they are often exposed to wear, such as gravel, asphalt or other rough surfaces.
