Astraline 3-strand polypropylene rope

Astraline is a 3-strand polypropylene rope with good abrasion resistance and a long service life in demanding environments. The UV-stabilised construction protects against degradation from sunlight, and the rope resists both acids and alkalis, making it suitable for industrial, agricultural and marine applications.

Polypropylene has a density of approximately 0.91 g/cm³, so the rope floats on water. This makes Astraline particularly useful for marking, rescue equipment and work near or on water. The melting point is approximately 165-175 °C.

The rope is supplied in 220 m coils and is available in diameters from 8 mm to 20 mm, covering most practical requirements.
