Product description
The straight form of a D-shackle suits connections where the load follows the shackle’s longitudinal direction. The screw pin must be fully engaged before the shackle forms part of a lifting assembly.
Avoid side loading unless it is described by the manufacturer. A round sling must have sufficient room in the shackle opening so that it is not pressed against an undersized contact radius.
