The Technotex webbing sling in the MC series has a WLL of 12,000 kg in a straight lift. This variant is 300 mm wide and 6 m long and marked to EN 1492. The orange colour follows the colour code for webbing slings with WLL 12 t.

Width and length determine the choice

The width follows the capacity in the colour code. The length is chosen from the dimensions of the load and the hitch you intend to use. The WLL applies to a straight lift. In a choked lift the WLL is 9,600 kg, and in a basket hitch with parallel legs 24,000 kg. Sharp edges reduce the breaking strength of the sling, so use edge protection where they cannot be avoided. The webbing sling can be used for various lifting tasks within the stated temperature range. Check the sling and its label for damage before use, and remove it from use if damage is visible.
