Lifting clamp for horizontal lifting of steel plates

The Terrier 2 FHSX is a lifting clamp for horizontal lifting and transporting of steel plates and other non-deflecting materials. The WLL is 2,000 kg per pair. The clamp is sold individually, so you need to buy two clamps to reach the stated WLL. The FHSX types are supplied with an enlarged jaw opening.

How the clamps are used

The clamps must always be used in pairs or multiple pairs. The capacity is calculated for a top angle of no more than 60°. The clamps may be loaded sideways by no more than 15°. Do not lift plates that are thicker or thinner than the jaw opening. The surface hardness of the plate must not exceed 37 HrC (345 Hb). The ambient temperature must be from -40 °C to 100 °C.

The clamps must be inspected and tested at least once a year by Terrier or an approved repair centre. Check their general condition yourself at least once a month. Do not use a clamp if the body is cracked or deformed, the cam teeth are no longer sharp, or the marking can no longer be read.
