Wire rope sling with a documented load rating

The sling has a WLL of 2,300 kg in a straight lift with one leg. The construction is 6x36+FC. It is made to DS/EN 13414-1. The safety factor is 5:1.

How the sling is used

The WLL applies to a straight lift with one leg. The operating temperature is -40 °C to +100 °C. Do not lift at a spread angle above 120° or below 15°. An edge counts as sharp when its radius is smaller than or equal to the rope diameter, and edge protection must be used at sharp edges. Discard the sling if wear exceeds 10 % of the nominal rope thickness. Discard it also at more than 5 wire breaks in one lay length. Never tie knots in the sling. Lifting equipment must be inspected at least every 12 months.
